There’s a lot to celebrate at Spanish tapas restaurant and bar Camino this summer, with a new selection of wines on tap as well as a fantastic revamped cocktail menu and lunchtime paella at Blackfriars.
The new cocktail list launches across all Camino bars at the end of May. Hannah Duffy and Camino bartenders have come up with an inventive, quirky list of drinks perfect for the summer – including a spicy, sour and refreshing Paola Punched Pedro’s Pepper and Road to Pepito, a delicious sour made with sherry.
Both affordable and better for the environment (due to lower shipping costs) the wines on tap include a crisp Sauvignon Blanc, fruity Cabernet Rosado and Tempranillo, a medium-bodied soft red.
Meanwhile at Camino Blackfriars, the kitchen is now cooking up traditional paella in a large paella pan at lunchtimes. Perfect for sharing or for a quick, summer lunch, the paella – including cuttlefish, chicken, prawns, Calasparra rice and saffron – will be a new addition to the Express Lunch Menu and is priced at £6.95.
