Vietfood now open in Soho

Vietfood, an exciting new, two storey, seventy cover restaurant specializing in contemporary Vietnamese Street Food, from chef/proprietor Jeff Tan (formerly Chef de Cuisine at Hakkasan Mayfair) has just launched at 34 – 36 Wardour Street, W1D 6QT.

Jeff’s passion has always been for exceptional quality, reasonably priced Vietnamese food and his menu at Vietfood celebrates Vietnam’s vibrant street food culture. Firstly, think large steaming bowls of Pho or Bun, expertly made from twelve hour simmered bone marrow stock or delicately flavoured chicken broth, varieties include Flash fried fillet steak with garlic Hainan style, King prawn, Spicy brisket and Mushroom to name a few.

The menu also includes Crispy coconut calamari with sweet chilli herb sauce, Home made Vietnamese spring rolls, Sea bass with banana leaf, Tender Pork belly and Vietnamese grilled chilli sirloin. Dishes range from £2.80 to £9 and at lunch pho, bun and Saigon rice dishes are all £6.90.

The split-level restaurant has 70 covers and is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week.
