The Magazine restaurant at Serpentine Sackler, new Afternoon Tea offering

The Magazine restaurant at Serpentine Sackler Gallery has a splendid new Afternoon Tea offering. Priced at £25 including a choice of cocktails, The Magazine Afternoon Tea has been specially created by Head Chef Emmanuel Eger to celebrate London’s autumn art season. Explore the Serpentine Sackler Gallery next door or, The Magazine’s own installation – Drinking Bird Seasons, a video work by Tabor Robak, followed by the miniature works of art on the plate, the exquisite savouries and sweets making up the new Afternoon Tea offering.

Savouries include: Acacia infused Goat’s Cheese, Black Grape and Crispy Shallot, Smoked Mackerel, Pickled Cucumber and Sorrel and Sobrasada, Charred Aubergine and Tahini

Sweets include: Baked British Apple, Dark Chocolate Soil and Spices and Passionfruit, Fromage Blanc and Meringue

Scones, a great selection of Ronnefeldt Teas and cocktails: The Magazine Bellini (White Peach, Thyme infused syrup, Prosecco) or Lavender and Blueberry Lemonade (Fresh crushed blueberries, lemon juice, homemade lavender syrup, soda water) complete the offering, which is available Wednesday to Sunday, 3.30pm to 5pm until Sunday, 29 November.
