
The Big Matt burger has caused quite a stir since it launched at Hawksmoor Spitalfields Bar for Independence Day earlier this month.
A seductive combination of two charcoal grilled 100% beef patties with Hawksmoor special sauce, Sparkenhoe Red Leicester cheese, shredded iceberg, onions and homemade pickles, we have Hawksmoor Executive Chef Matt Brown to thank for his eponymously named, gorgeous creation.
Originally only on the menu until the end of this month, The Big Matt burger is now part of the ‘Big Matt Meal’ – including dripping fries and that Hawksmoor favourite, Shakey Pete’s Ginger Brew – and it’s here to stay at all Hawksmoor sites until the end of September.
