Pachamama, the Peruvian-inspired restaurant and bar in the heart of Marylebone, has recently launched a new weekend brunch offering. Pachamama’s inventive use of Peruvian ingredients and an original take on traditional brunch, coupled with two excellent set Bottomless Bellini menus at £39 and £46, make this a standout from the myriad other brunch offerings available across London.
The Spring Brunch is available on Saturdays and Sundays between 12 and 4pm. A must try, Pachamama’s signature Brunch Waffles, gluten-free and freshly made to order with quinoa or sweet potato and a choice of six toppings, are at the core of the new offering. Sweet waffles include Peanut butter, grilled plantain, cacao nibs, coconut, toasted peanuts and Peruvian chocolate, toasted quinoa ice cream, cacao crumb or, choose from Beetroot-cured smoked salmon, avocado, poached egg, Peruvian fried chicken, yacon and ají syrup and Smoked bacon, free-range fried egg for savoury options.
More substantial Brunch Specials feature the traditional Pollo a la brasa (half a free-range chicken, brined, marinated for two days, then charcoal grilled Peruvian style and served with house jerk sauce and ají amarillo mayonnaise), Suckling lamb leg (pulled from the bone and delicately marinated in ají panca and huacatay; served with burnt onions, mint crème fraiche and coriander crumbs) and Hot smoked salmon (served as a warming bowl with wild garlic, roasted barley and a poached egg).
The Bottomless Bellini set menus include a snack, waffle and side with unlimited Bellinis for £39 or ceviche, brunch special, side or dessert with unlimited Bellinis for £46. Choose between a classic Bellini or a Chicha Morada Bellini for a Peruvian twist.
