The Palomar, a new restaurant serving the food of modern day Jerusalem in Soho is now open for lunch. ‘Bring an appetite for fun’ to the ‘most interesting restaurant experience in London right now’ say the critics.
Signature dishes include Polenta Jerusalem-style with asparagus, mushroom ragout, parmesan and truffle oil; Pork belly Tajine with ras el hanout, dried apricots and Israeli couscous and Shakhshukit, deconstructed kebab with minced meat, yoghurt, tahini, “The 4 tops” & laffa bread. Owners Layo and Zoe Paskin have now sourced wine directly from Israel to add to the reasonably priced wine list.
