New winter menu from Tim Parsons at Public House

February 2, 2015

Tim Parsons, the recently appointed head chef at Public House in Islington has just launched a great new winter menu with dishes including Potted pheasant, bacon butter, heritage carrots, watercress and Smoked mackerel, kohlrabi, apple & radishes to start. Mains include Fillet of sea bream, artichoke puree, mussels, chorizo and Tamworth pork shoulder, roasted squash and morciilla, crispy skin.

Situated just off the busy Upper Street, Public House is one of Islington’s best loved neighbourhood bars and restaurants with an eclectic, cabinet of curiosities style interior, great atmosphere and excellent drinks list. Tim Parsons, who previously worked with Bruno Loubet, Jamie Oliver and Ed Bains, fits into this environment perfectly.
