
Exciting news from Carlo Palumbo and Lorenzo Boldi, owners of La Tagliata Italian Kitchen in Spitalfields who will open their second restaurant in Fitzrovia this November. La Tagliata Wine Bar & Italian Kitchen will open on Monday, 6th November at 45 Grafton Way, W1T 5DQ on the site of what was popular restaurant, Sardo.
The 25-cover wine bar will have around 50 wines from both traditional and lesser known Italian producers alongside small plates of pasta and pizza. The 60-cover restaurant will serve tagliate (beef tagliata being a traditional Tuscan specialty after which the restaurant is named) in addition to Italian classics such as Le melanzane alla parmigiana, I gamberi alla Fra’Diavolo (spicy king prawns with tomato lobster sauce) and a further selection of pasta, which will include Head Chef Antonio Tonelli’s take on Sardo’s mainstay, crab linguine.
