Hawsmoor Spitalfields Bar Launches New Cocktail Menu

April 6, 2016

This year, Hawksmoor celebrates its 10-year anniversary and to mark the occasion, Hawksmoor Spitalfields Bar has come up with a brand new innovative and unique cocktail menu.

Opened in 2006, Hawksmoor Spitalfields was the first restaurant of the Group and is therefore a natural choice for showcasing the new cocktail menu. Thanks to the work of award-winning bartenders, brothers Ali and Josh Reynolds, and the rest of the Spitalfields team, the reinvigorated list is a dazzling selection of eye-catching, interactive drinks made with the finest ingredients.

A particularly eccentric new addition is Painting The Town Copper, made with Absolut Elyx, Champagne Cordial & Copper Paint and presented with a real tube of copper paint and a paintbrush. For those with more of a romantic preference, try Old Fashioned Date Night, made with Popcorn washed Ron Zacapa, Coke & Date reduction, Chocolate & Tickets. Meanwhile, for a healthy dose of exotic escapism there’s the Good Tiki Drink, made with Rums, Smoked Passionfruit, Toasted Coconut, Citrus, Spices, Branca Menta, Lillet Rouge & a Stupid Garnish.

Many of the new drinks feature unusual homemade bitters, shrubs, and syrups, such as the Sunset Sazerac (Strawberry Cognac, Coconut Bourbon, Pineapple Bitters & Absinthe), the Shadow Boxer (Chivas 12yr, Blackberry & Maple Shrub, PX & Fernet Branca) and the Devil’s Heart (Mezcal, Pomegranate Shrub, Jameson Sloe Berry Bitters, Sherry, Citrus & Merchant Heart Ginger Ale).
