
Just in time for the summer holidays, the chippies’ and (arguably) the nation’s favourite dish, Scampi & Chips gets a Hawksmoor makeover. It will launch on Monday 8th July as one of the specials on the new Summer Lunch Menu and will be available from all Hawksmoor London restaurants alongside Manchester and Edinburgh over the summer months.
Matt Brown is known for creating the legendary Big Matt, which also makes a welcome return as a summer lunch special served with fries (£16) or as part of the Big Matt Meal (with fries and Shaky or Steady Pete Ginger Brew, £20). Langoustine Scampi & Chips (£21) is Matt’s latest signature dish featuring langoustines served with classic tartare sauce and triple cooked chips.
The Summer Lunch Menu, priced at £25 for 2 courses and £28 for 3 features seasonal starters such as Heritage tomato salad and Spring herb salad, goat’s curd, radishes, sourdough crisp. Mains feature Roasted hake, heritage tomatoes & new potatoes, Chargrilled heritage courgettes, Twineham Grange dumplings, courgette fries and 35-day aged rump with triple cooked chips. For puddings, choose from Peanut butter shortbread, salted caramel ice cream, Original Beans chocolate, Pannacotta, raspberries, lemon & elderflower granita or Grilled peaches, almond meringue, muscat cream, lemon bomb.
The Hawksmoor Summer Lunch menu and Summer Lunch Specials will be available for lunch only, 12-3pm Monday to Saturday at all Hawksmoor restaurants from Monday, 8th July.
