Those who remember the legendary Elvis Presley Sandwich at Foxlow Clerkenwell (2014) with fondness might like to head to their nearest branch on Tuesday, 28th February when The Elvis pancake makes a brief appearance for Shrove Tuesday.
There’s nothing quite like Pancake Day to bring out your inner child and at Foxlow you can take a trip down nostalgia lane on Tuesday 28 February with a range of Shrove Tuesday options. The Classic (lemon and sugar) is always a winner, but for something more adventurous – and delicious, the Mushroom and cornmeal with a fried egg and bacon dust or, the king of pancakes, The Elvis is a killer combination of ricotta, peanut butter, maple glazed bacon and roasted banana. Available from 8am to 5pm at Chiswick and Balham and until 12pm at Clerkenwell. Pancakes are just £8 and are served with unlimited tea or coffee. What’s more, the proceeds will go towards Magic Breakfast, a charity that helps prevent disadvantaged children going hungry in the classroom.
As for other Foxlow news, BYO Beer Mondays have arrived at all sites to brighten up the dullest day of the week. All you have to do is order fried chicken pieces or the famous Foxlow Chicken Burger and beer ‘corkage’ is free.
