Foxlow to open in Stoke Newington

February 12, 2015

Will Beckett and Huw Gott are opening a second Foxlow restaurant. The new 100-cover restaurant and bar, which used to trade as Homa, is on Stoke Newington Church Street and is split over two levels with a terrace at the front. It will open in early April.

Will says, “Huw and I used to live in a small flat in Stoke Newington when we opened our first place together; it was great then and it’s got even better since. We’ve always loved the idea of opening something on Church Street, which is one of the great neighbourhood streets in London. We hope we’ve found just the right thing; when Homa came up we knew it was for us. The restaurant is in a beautiful building and we think it’s the nicest spot on the street. We think we can do something there that the locals will be really proud of.”

The interior will be by Macaulay Sinclair who designed the Clerkenwell restaurant along with Huw.
Richard Turner and Lewis Hannaford will oversee the menu, which will feature the signature slow-smoked and charcoal-grilled dishes, along with lots of lighter, healthier things. Foxlow in Stoke Newington will also serve their legendary brunch (think Moroccan Eggs with Sobrasada Toast, Fried Chicken & Eggs with Croissant Waffles and Avocado, Chilli & Lime on Toast) and Sunday Roast Longhorn Beef.
