Will Beckett and Huw Gott’s second Foxlow restaurant is now open for brunch, lunch and dinner seven days a week on Stoke Newington Church Street. Foxlow Stoke Newington is a split-level, 100-cover neighbourhood restaurant and bar with a 30-cover terrace, serving charcoal grilled, slow smoked and carefully sourced dishes that made its Clerkenwell sibling so popular, alongside a few new things for Stokey.
Joining the legendary favourites, Ten Hour Beef Shortrib with Kimchi, Foxlow Fried Chicken and the classic grills: Deckle, Rib Fillet and 55-days aged D-Rump, all from The Ginger Pig, is a new selection of fish dishes including Roast Salmon with Fennel, Brixham Hake with Romesco and a lightly cured salmon with maple and pink peppercorns. Ricotta Dumplings with Spring Vegetables, Farro Fattoush, Wye Valley Asparagus and Carrot and Fennel Salad with Graceburn are lighter lunch or dinner options. New pastries and cakes including Lemon and Pistachio Polenta Cake with sweet labneh and Chocolate and Salted Caramel Tart are also available all day.
A brand new kids menu features Salmon Fish Fingers, Cheesy Beans on Toast and Roast Vegetable Pasta as well as brunch, juices and kids cocktails including Sponge Bob Egg Cream (milk, soda, strawberry syrup) and Apple & Ginger Fizz (Lime, Ginger Beer, Apple Juice).
The Foxlow cocktail list has been thoroughly revised with the new location in mind. There are also new house wines selected with a little help from Church Street neighbours Borough Wines and beers from Five Points (based nearby in Hackney Downs) and “Epic Pale” brewed exclusively for Foxlow by Durham at The Hops & Glory in Canonbury.
