
This November, Foxlow will be taking part in World Vegan Month with a fantastic new Vegan Menu, launching on Wednesday, 1st November (World Vegan Day) and available for lunch and dinner.
Hawksmoor’s younger sibling going vegan might come as a surprise to some who see it primarily as a ‘meat’ restaurant but to owners Will Beckett and Huw Gott and chefs Richard Turner and Lewis Hannaford, the addition of vegan dishes to Foxlow menu is simply a reflection of how they like to eat, and how difficult they found it to find great vegetarian or vegan food when the mood hit them.
Foxlow’s vegan dishes are priced between £5 and £9.50 and include: Carrot hummus with carrot top pesto and chilli; Roast acorn squash pie with vegan gravy; Spice-roasted cauliflower, chickpeas, wilted spinach & curried aubergine sauce and a mind-bogglingly brilliant Aubergine ‘steak’ with wild mushrooms, onions and vegan béarnaise. Most will be available beyond November.
