Foxlow and Sipsmith Join Forces to Create Sustainable Summer Cocktails

June 27, 2017

Foxlow and Sipsmith have combined again to create three new sustainable summer cocktails, which will be available from all Foxlow restaurants & bars: Clerkenwell, Chiswick, Balham and newly opened Soho until Thursday 31st August and are £8.

The three cocktails feature local produce or ingredients that would otherwise go to waste and were selected following a fierce competition between Foxlow bartenders. The winning drinks all use leftovers in inventive ways. For example, liquid from griottine cherry jars (a favourite Foxlow garnish) are used in 83 Cranbrook Road, unused Bloody Mary celery sticks blended down with honey in Hogarth’s Ruin and egg yolks remaining from prepping egg whites for all Foxlow’s sours in Summertime Fizz. All of the new drinks are made with Sipsmith London Dry Gin.

They are:
– 83 Cranbrook Road (London Dry Gin, Griottine Kirsch, vanilla honey syrup, lemon juice, Earl Grey tea)
– Hogarth’s Ruin (London Dry Gin, lemon, celery ambrosia, Kamm & Sons, Peychaud’s Bitters, rosemary sugar)
– Golden Peach Fizz (London Dry Gin, lemon, egg yolk, peach nectar, honey syrup, orange bitters, Asayla whisky, topped with soda water)

The Sipsmith cocktails will be available at the special price of £5 Monday to Friday from 5-7.30pm and on Saturdays and Sundays at brunch.
