Flour & Grape to open this October on Bermondsey Street

October 4, 2017

Bringing Londoners the very best of Italian fare – pasta, wine and gelato – Flour & Grape is opening at 214 Bermondsey St, London, SE1 3TQ this October.

60-cover Flour & Grape offers a very reasonably priced, paired down menu that features a handful of the most wonderful house-made pastas, unique antipasti and authentic gelati alongside a brilliant, great value wine list. There will be 25 wines by the glass, all with low mark-ups.

Head Chef Adam Czmiel, formerly at Antico, Pizarro, Bermondsey Kitchen and The Kensington Gore and General Manager Nick Crispini, formerly at Antico and Theo Randall, are the brains behind Flour & Grape. Adam has come up with a simple yet fantastic quality selection of eight house-made pastas featuring everything from a simple Bucatini (tomato, capers, olives, basil) and Gigli (sausage ragu) to a sumptuous Tortelloni (roasted pork shoulder, sage butter) and delicious Reginette (tiger prawn, prawn bisque, basil).

The wine offering at Flour & Grape is tantamount to the food and Nick has devised the list with great passion. Every glass or bottle featured is selected based on flavour and variety creating a strong range of Italian wines.
