
Delamina, an 80-cover Eastern Mediterranean restaurant from husband and wife team Limor and Amir Chen, will open in late February at 56-58 Marylebone Lane, London W1U 2NX. Limor & Amir’s foray into the restaurant world began with a successful residency at Shoreditch House, and was followed by the opening of their first restaurant, Strut & Cluck in Shoreditch in 2016.
Limor was born in Tel Aviv to a family whose origins span from Russia to Iran, and was particularly inspired by her father, a passionate cook and avid user of the herbs and spices of the region. Limor’s recipes are influenced by her interest in healthy eating – grilling, roasting and using herbs and spices to celebrate the raw ingredients, including many vegetarian dishes. Samples dishes include Herbed & spiced angus beef & venison koftas on a bed of hummus & tahini, grilled onions, harissa oil drizzle and Charcoaled leeks, crumbled manouri, dried apricots, roasted hazelnuts, crispy capers.
