Chicama to open in Chelsea this June

May 12, 2016

Chicama, a 72-cover modern Peruvian seafood restaurant will open in mid June on King’s Road in the heart of Chelsea.

Chicama is the second opening from the team behind Marylebone’s much-loved Pachamama restaurant. It will be open Tuesday through to Sunday for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch.

Head Chef Erren Nathaniel most recently spent time at Maido, Peru’s top Nikkei restaurant (one of San Pelegrino’s Top 50 restaurants in the world) and has previously worked his way around some of London’s most exciting kitchens, including Launceston Place, Viajante, Hélène Darroze at The Connaught and 28:50.

The menu, inspired by the coastal food of Peru, will revolve around fish of the day. Market fresh fish such as dover sole, rock bass and monkfish will be cooked on the robata grill and served with house sauces, such as fermented sweet potato chilli and lobster oil chimichurri.
